The welding positioner is a mechanical device that can turn and tilt the workpiece so as to place the welding seam of the complex structural parts in the horizontal or ship shaped position for welding. Its driving system is divided into two parts, that is, rotary drive and flip drive. The rotary drive is mostly motor driven, with stepless speed adjustment, and can realize forward and reverse. The flip drive is electric and hydraulic. For the large positioner (bearing more than 10t) and the small positioner which requires the worktable to be lifted and lowered to a certain extent, the lifting and tilting devices are mostly driven by hydraulic pressure. The advantage of hydraulic drive is that the process is stable and easy to control.
